How to use it
Pull your iOS match rate
Today's number, from your attribution or mediation dashboard.
Pull eCPM by platform
Android vs. iOS, last two quarters, so you can see the trend.
Export mediation response rates
By network, sorted low to high.
The checklist
Free to copy. No signup. Nothing shortened.
Mobile app yield
- 1
ATT: implemented is not optimized
Check your current iOS match rate, not the one at launch. Prompt copy, timing (pre-permission priming vs. the cold system prompt) and placement all move it.
- 2
The Android/iOS eCPM gap
Some gap is structural. Is yours wider than comparable apps in your category, and has it crept up without a named cause such as a match-rate drop or a partner pulling back on iOS.
- 3
Mediation networks returning zero fill
Networks get added when they perform and rarely removed when they stop. Anything near zero response that nobody has touched in months is latency, and on some setups it suppresses the networks below it.
What this checklist will not tell you
- There is no universal 'right' eCPM gap. Compare against apps in your own category and geo.
- Not every app needs app-ads.txt checks to the same depth; it depends on whether you sell programmatically through SSPs.
- This list points at the leak. Sizing it needs your mediation and SSP data.
Practical questions
Is this really free?
Yes, no signup. Copy it or download it as a text file.
Who is it for?
App publishers and app monetization teams running mediation or in-app bidding.
Does the free checker work for apps?
Yes, if you provide the app-ads.txt URL. It cross-checks your declared sellers against sellers.json data from each SSP.
What does a Yield Review add?
We run these checks plus the full 14-point supply path list on your accounts, for a fixed €1,500, and show the calculation behind every finding.
