The 14-point supply path checklist we run on every review, in the open.

Every check we run before we quote a publisher, with what to look for. Points 1 to 3 run automatically in the free checker. The rest you can work through yourself, or hand to us.

How to use it

Step 1

Run 1 to 3 free

Enter your domain in the free checker. It reads your ads.txt and cross-checks it against sellers.json data from every SSP you declare.

Step 2

Work through 4 to 8

You need ad server and SSP reporting access. Nothing public can answer these.

Step 3

Add your segment

Run the add-ons that match your inventory: CTV/FAST, mobile app or web.

The checklist

Free to copy. No signup. Nothing shortened.

Supply path

  1. 1

    Full ads.txt / app-ads.txt review

Every authorized seller, DIRECT vs. RESELLER, and why each reseller entry exists.

  2. 2

    Sellers.json cross-check

Does what your SSPs actually confirm match what your ads.txt claims.

  3. 3

    Reseller count and staleness

When was each entry last verified, not just last edited.

Auction and yield

  1. 4

Header bidding timeout and auction logic

Set once at implementation, rarely revisited.

  2. 5

    Floor-price ownership and seasonal movement

Who owns the decision, and has it moved with demand over the last two quarters.

  3. 6

    Direct-sold vs. programmatic prioritization

Is direct-sold inventory prioritized correctly in the ad server, or only on paper.

Reporting

  1. 7

Gross bid data vs. net payout

Do you see gross, or only what lands in your account after fees.

  2. 8

    Ad-server vs. SSP-reported impressions

Checked by placement, where discrepancies concentrate.

Segment add-ons (where relevant)

  1. 9

CTV/FAST: pod rules and competitive separation

Checked across every break type, not only the first one configured.

  2. 10

CTV/FAST: fill rate and CPM viability by channel

Which channels sit below a viable line, and has anyone asked why.

  3. 11

    CTV/FAST: signal pass-back

If a distribution partner holds device or household signal, is it passed back to you.

  4. 12

Mobile: ATT prompt and current iOS match rate

The rate today, not the rate at launch.

  5. 13

Mobile: Android/iOS eCPM gap and mediation response rates

Is the gap structural, or has it widened without a named cause.

  6. 14

Web: impression discrepancies and exchange win-rate concentration

    By placement and size.

What this checklist will not tell you

  • It tells you where to look, not what you will find. A stale reseller entry or an old timeout is a lead, not a revenue number.
  • Points 4 to 14 need access to your ad server and SSP reporting. A public check cannot answer them, ours included.
  • Knowing the list does not do the slow part: matching your sellers.json evidence line by line against each SSP.

Practical questions

Is this really free?

Yes. The full checklist is on this page, free to copy or download, no email. The free checker asks for an email only to send you the full result.

Who is it for?

Publishers, sales houses, ad networks and CTV/FAST sellers who run their own programmatic stack and want to check it before paying anyone.

Which points does the free checker cover?

Points 1 to 3: your ads.txt, cross-checked against real sellers.json data crawled from the SSPs you declare. It never relies on self-reported data.

What does a Yield Review add?

We run all 14 points on your actual accounts for a fixed €1,500 and report each finding with the calculation shown. If we cannot quantify a finding, we report it without a number.

Rather have us check it on your accounts?

A Yield Review runs the full list on your ad server and SSP data. Fixed €1,500, every finding with the calculation shown.
